Disney Channel names new marketing VP

Disney Channels Worldwide announced this week that John Rood will be returning to the Walt Disney Company as its senior vice president of marketing. Rood replaces Richard Loomis, who steps down next month after nine years with the Disney Channel. Tower of Terror sign removed at California Adventure

In preparation for its closure at the beginning of next year, it appears that the Disneyland Resort has already removed “The Hollywood Tower Hotel” signage from the side of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney California Adventure. Survey indicates growing Zika concern for travelers to Walt Disney World

Two recent surveys show that Zika fears are beginning to affect future plans to visit Walt Disney World. The surveys by CivicScience show that nearly half the people polled have either canceled or decided not to book a vacation to Disney World because of concerns about the Zika virus. Holiday brunch coming to 1900 Park Fare

A holiday character-dining brunch is coming to 1900 Park Fare inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
