Disneyland releases new smartphone app

The Disneyland Resort has released a new official smartphone app called simply “Disneyland” that will allow guests to access current wait times and check park hours.  The new app is not connected to Walt Disney World‘s MyDisneyExperience. Beach Side Bonfire buffet opens at Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel

The PCH Grill at the Disneyland Resort‘s Paradise Pier Hotel recently premiered a new dinner buffet that is inspired by the picnics, barbecues and bonfires that happen along California’s beaches. One of the highlights of the buffet is the carving station featuring fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs and smokey tri-tip. Another shake-up in management at Walt Disney World

Over the next month, Dan Cockerell, Vice President of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Phil Holmes, Vice President of Magic Kingdom, will be switching jobs. Cockerell has been in charge at Hollywood Studios since 2011 and Holmes has overseen the Magic Kingdom since 2001. Disneyland cast member charged with trading tickets for sex

Darreck Michael Enciso, a dishwasher at the Disneyland Resort, has been arrested after attempting to trade Disneyland tickets for sex with a minor.  Disneyland spokesperson Suzi Brown says that Enciso has been “immediately relieved of his duties.” A Huntington Beach police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl, answered Enciso’s Craigslist ad in which he was Disneyland cast member charged with trading tickets for sex

Discrimination lawsuits filed by Disney World security guards set for trial soon

One of several discrimination lawsuits and complaints file by security cast members at Walt Disney World is set to go to trial this summer, while a similar suit is pending.
