We’ve learned about more closures that will take place later this year in Future World at Epcot as the massive transformation of the core of the park gets ready to begin. We’ve already shared images of the removal of some of the Leave A Legacy monoliths that will be relocated to a location just outside the park’s entrance.
Below is a list of the upcoming closures we know about so far:
Electric Umbrella – Closing November 23, 2019
Fountain View – Closing November 23, 2019
Club Cool – Closing September 8, 2019
Club Cool will be incorporated into new offerings as part of Epcot’s evolution. Additional details about the transformation of the core of Future World will be announced at the 2019 D23 Expo.
Character Spot – Closing September 8, 2019
Colortopia – Closing September 8, 2019
Nanooze Break – Closing September 8, 2019
Mouse Gear – Moving to a temporary home this winter while its existing location is reimagined
Art of Disney – Moving to Heritage Manor in The American Adventure pavilion this fall
As part of the ongoing transformation of Epcot, Art of Disney will operate temporarily from a new location while refurbishment is underway. Heritage Manor will later become the new home for Art of Disney offerings.
Pin Central – Moving to a temporary home this fall and will move to Camera Center permanently
As part of the ongoing transformation of Epcot, Pin Central will operate temporarily from a new location while refurbishment is underway. The Camera Center will close this fall to become a new home for Pin Central.
Fountain of Nations – Closing September 8, 2019
Fountain of Nations will close on Sept. 8, 2019. We look forward to honoring our past and celebrating the future with our Epcot family soon.
