Anteater Attacks a Child During a Disney Cruise Port of Call Leading to a Lawsuit Wonder-Port-2b-2-1

On an October 2018 sailing on the Disney Wonder, a child was reportedly attacked and injured by an anteater off the ship in Cartagena, Colombia. When the boy and his family returned to the Disney Wonder documents show that they visited the medical care facility.

According to ClickOrlando.com, the child unfortunately obtained “a severe mycobacterial infection,” and the family is now claiming that Magical Cruise Company and Vanter Cruise Health Services, which are the medical providers aboard the ship, did not properly treat him. By allegedly not diagnosing the child with this infection they then did not give him sufficient care he needed.

The family “is seeking damages in excess of $15,000 and a jury trial.”
