Contractors who worked on the recent pool renovation at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are fighting about who should get the money.
Balfour Beatty, based in Dallas, was the general contractor; Balfour subcontracted with Lake Mechanical Contractors of Eustis. موقع 888 Lake Mechanical hired additional subcontractors, including “Auburndale-based Petroleum Compliance Solutions; Charlotte, North Carolina-based Unitherm; Pennsylvania-based Hughes Supply; Deltona-based Higgins Information Technologies; Orlando-based Lapin Sheet Metal Company; Orlando Winnelson, and North Carolina-based Trane U.S. Inc.”
Balfour was paid $102,590 and has filed a federal lawsuit to allow a judge to decide who gets the money, as the subcontractors say they have not been fully paid. Lake Mechanical sent an invoice to Balfour for ,469. وليام هيل
The Orlando Sentinel states:
In its court filing, Balfour states that one of Lake Mechanical’s lenders, New York-based New Era, has demanded that Balfour satisfy a judgment it holds against Lake Mechanical. The New Era judgment is due to a completely separate holdup on another construction job, a medical center in Lake City, according to court filings.
Balfour claims it is at risk of exposing itself to liability if it attempts to distribute the funds, and is asking the court to block any attempts to sue over the money and to determine who gets the money. العاب فلوس حقيقية
