Disney Cruise Line honored by Cruise Critic

Cruise Critic has honored Disney Cruise Line in their 2016 Cruise Critic US Editors’ Picks Awards.

DCL was named “Best for Families”, with one editor saying, “Jedi training, a Frozen-themed deck party, ship-wide holiday celebrations: Disney knows best what kids want on vacation, and it delivers. Families can have fun together by the pool or at a show, or go their separate ways with adults-only restaurants and sun decks, and huge kids clubs with activities day and night.”

The cruise line also won “Best for Dining” in the awards. Another editor said, “Disney Cruise Line provides standout service, delicious food in specialty restaurants like Palo and Remy, and a quirky touch of magic in its main dining rooms.”

The awards were chosen by a team of experts from around the world who travel on the cruise industry throughout the year. Disney has received more than 250 awards since setting sail in 1998.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
