Disney Cruise Line Removes Tracy Arm Fjord from Its Alaska Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has made adjustments to its 2019 Alaskan sailings, replacing Tracy Arm Fjord (and the Sawyer Glacier) with the Dawes Glacier at Endicott Arm Fjord.

For the last several seasons, the Disney Wonder has had trouble reaching the Sawyer Glacier due to increased ice congestion in the fjord and has been substituting the Dawes Glacier anyway, so the only surprising thing about this change is that it has taken Disney so long to make it official.

The Wonder begins her 2019 season in Alaska with a 7-night sailing on May 20th, then will sail 5, 7 and 9-night cruises through early September 2019. Sailings for the summer of 2020 have not been announced.
