Each year, during Very Merrytime Cruise sailings aboard Disney Cruise Line ships, bakery and pastry chefs and deck teams strive to create awe-inspiring gingerbread displays for their guests to enjoy. The gingerbread displays also become a part of DCL’s Annual Gingerbread House Competition, and Disney Cruise Line has just announced the winner of its sixth annual competition.
The Disney Fantasy’s gingerbread house is this year’s champion.
Together, the four ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet used approximately 220 pounds of icing sugar, 650 pounds of gingerbread dough, 5250 gingerbread bricks, and a ton of candy to create their gingerbread masterpieces.
