Disney Wonder and Disney Dream Adjust Itineraries Due to Weather

Due to weather conditions in the Atlantic Ocean, Disney Cruise Line has adjusted the itineraries for both the Disney Wonder and Disney Dream.

The Wonder left Sunday for a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean sailing with stops scheduled in St. Maarten, San Juan, and Castaway Cay. The captain, however, has changed the ship’s schedule, dropping the stop at St. Maarten and adding an additional stop at Castaway Cay.

The new itinerary is as follows:

March 4 – Port Canaveral
March 5 – Castaway Cay [previously Day at Sea]
March 6 – Day at Sea
March 7 – Day at Sea [previously St. Maarten]
March 8 – San Juan, Puerto Rico
March 9 – Day at Sea
March 10 – Castaway Cay
March 11 – Port Canaveral

The Disney Dream left today (Monday) on a 4-Night Bahamian Cruise, with stops scheduled at Nassau and Castaway Cay. Due to weather conditions in Nassau, the ship will not be able to make its scheduled stop there on Tuesday. Instead the ship will visit Castaway Cay.

The captain has not confirmed the schedule for the rest of the cruise and if he will reschedule a visit to Nassau. It’s also not know if the ship will make its scheduled to visit Castaway Cay on Wednesday. A Day at Sea is scheduled on Thursday.

We will continue to monitor any further changes happening due to weather conditions.
