Disney’s Polynesian Resort Monorail Station Has Finally Reopened

After a long refurbishment period, the monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has finally reopened. The station has been closed since November 2020 while it faced major reconstruction as the rest of the resort also saw big changes.

For nearly a year, guests staying at and visiting the Polynesian Resort had to use boats, busses, or walking to the Transportation and Ticket Center or Grand Floridan to get to the parks.

Now that the long-awaited construction has been complete, the Polynesian has rejoined the monorail line with a shiny new station. As before, the station is accessible from the second floor of The Great Ceremonial House. The new station has been completely reconstructed and looks better than ever.
