DreamWorks and Disney to part ways next year?

Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Studios is expected to end its distribution partnership with Disney next August and may sign with Universal instead. DreamWorks and Disney have worked together since 2009 and have two more Spielberg films due out before then: Bridge of Spies starring Tom Hanks (Oct. 16) and The BFG (July 1).

The BFG will be branded as a Disney film; previous films under the agreement have come out under Disney’s Touchstone name.

A deal with Universal has not been announced, though it is widely expected to take place. ماكينات القمار Spielberg still retains offices at Universal and produced the recent release, Jurassic World.

DreamWorks has been talking with other studios as the end date for the Disney agreement draws nearer. العاب تجني منها المال Spielberg has signed on to direct Ready Player One, a Warner Bros. film due out in late 2017.
