If you’re a Disney fan, you’ve likely seen the unbelievable images that surfaced late Monday night, showing inside the attractions coming to Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disneyland. If you haven’t had the chance to see the photos just yet, hold onto your hats because you’re in for a real treat! I have never in my life wanted to travel to Tokyo more than I do right this very moment. We’ve seen and learned a lot about Fantasy Springs over the past year or so, and after seeing more of what’s going on with the attractions, I’d be willing to bet that you’ll be feeling the same way.
Typically, photos don’t do things justice, but friends, these attractions look so incredible that one can only imagine how they will look in real life. I have to be honest and tell you that I’ve never, before this morning, looked at flights to Tokyo. It’s almost an 11-hour flight nonstop from Seattle, and in my mind, that isn’t terrible. This is coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of flying, but when you see what I’m about to show you, you’ll understand why my bags could be packed in about half a hot second.
Without further ado, let’s look at these attractions!
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
Set out on a voyage by boat on Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey located in Frozen Kingdom! This family-friendly attraction features the heartwarming tale of two sisters from childhood memories with Grand Pabbie to Anna turning to ice to save Elsa. The adventure is accompanied by songs from the film including, Do You Want to Build a Snowman?, For the First Time in Forever, Love Is an Open Door and Let It Go.

Without going back right now and rewatching Disney’s Frozen to put the photos in the correct order (I think I did okay), I feel like these images put you right into the movie like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’ve experienced the Frozen Ever After attraction at EPCOT one time and haven’t had the desire to go on it again. It’s cute, but I didn’t feel transported into the film like I do when I look at these images. The animatronics in Tokyo look incredible, and the attraction looks as it should – an incredible depiction of a beloved film that makes you feel like you’re actually there.
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival
For the first time ever, be transported to where the glowing lanterns gleam on Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival over in Rapunzel’s Forest. This romantic gondola journey retells the tale of Disney Animation’s Tangled, from Rapunzel’s tower to the moment we’ve all been waiting for, watching the sky envelope with countless lanterns to the tune of I See the Light.

They had me with the name of this attraction – Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival – my very favorite scene in Disney’s Tangled. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever talked to anyone who has a different favorite scene from that film. It’s absolutely breathtaking in every way. And when I saw the boat with guests in it, I about fell out of my chair. Just look at that!! You are right there – in a boat – floating under the gorgeous lanterns and looking at Rapunzel and Flynn in the most magnificent scene! My goodness, I cannot get to this park soon enough. Take me to Tokyo! The thought of seeing this in real life makes my heart sing!
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure
An all-new adventure, this 3D escapade joins Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Lost Kids as they rescue John from Captain Hook and his band of pirates.

Of course, this attraction feels a little bit like Peter Pan’s Flight to me as I see these new images, but that’s my favorite movie ever, so who am I to complain? Plus, it’s different. From the looks of it, guests will see Peter Pan on the ship, plus everyone flying over London in the attraction’s queue, which is pretty cool. I love anticipating how this dark ride will play out. I’m sure we’ll be seeing some POV videos real soon on various social media outlets, especially with media previews of Fantasy Springs taking place this week, but I’m not usually one who watches those. I’m not sure that I’ll be able to hold off this time, though. We’ll see.
Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies
Shrink down to the size of a fairy and board a busy buggie to help Tinker Bell deliver packages throughout the changing seasons of Pixie Hollow. This attraction is perfect for those of all ages!

Tinker Bell holds a special place in my heart for many reasons, but mostly because my daughter was never into Disney princesses, but always loved Tinker Bell with everything she had. She loved the sass and even chose Tinker Bell’s look when we took her to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the age of six. Anyway, I’m excited to see more photos of the inside of this attraction because if it’s anything like the others we’ve seen, I’m sure it’ll be nothing shy of fabulous!
Overall, I’ve been tickled to see all of the announcements and details coming to Fantasy Springs. Zoë has been sharing all of the information you need to know if you’re planning on visiting Tokyo Disney Resort when Fantasy Springs opens on June 6, 2024!
