Friday morning, major airlines, medical facilities, businesses, and police forces around the world were affected by a massive information technology glitch that impacted Microsoft cloud computing services.
Cybersecurity company CrowdStrike stated that the outages were caused by one of its routine software updates gone wrong and was “not a security incident or cyberattack.”
A new software update was issued that has automatically fixed some systems, while others still need to be manually restarted and patched, causing massive delays.
Cast members at Disneyland Paris were processing theme park entries manually.

Major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines, issued ground stops Friday morning, noting communications issues.
We recommend that travelers continue to check with their airlines for the latest flight information and allow extra time for check-in and baggage processing. Thank you. https://t.co/E8WATDpCOI
