New culinary experience on Disney Fantasy: “Palo – Be Our Chef”

Update 8/9/16: It appears that this is only available for Concierge guests and can be booked through Shoreside Concierge.

Palo, Disney Cruise Line’s adults-only restaurant, will be offering a new culinary experience beginning on the December 3, 2016 sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy.

“Palo – Be Our Chef” will give 8 guests the chance to learn about and how to prepare three of the restaurant’s signature dishes, which are part of a Northern Italian menu. After cooking, guests will sit down to a meal of their dishes.  One of the Palo chefs will guide this experience and all guests will get a keepsake. The article mentions that the keepsake may be a chef’s jacket.

The price for this experience is $279 per person and will be held from 10:00am-2:00pm on Tortola port days on Eastern Caribbean sailings and Grand Cayman port days on Western Caribbean sailings.

The Disney Cruise Line Blog shares the information, which came from a guest booked concierge on an upcoming sailing. They do note that it’s unclear about how booking will be handled for this activity and if it can be done online or needs to be done in person onboard the ship.

So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
