Port Canaveral closed briefly due to suspicious package port-canaveral-cruise-passenger-terminal-florida

Port Canaveral was locked down for a brief period of time around 2:00pm on Saturday, July 9, when an odor coming from passenger luggage arose suspicion. The area was secured and a Coast Guard robot was sent into to investigate. The odor turned out to be a broken can of hair spray. The Coast Guard reopened the area shortly after.

Carnival Conquest and Celebrity Constellation were the two ships in port at the time.
