If you’re a Seahawks fan living in Seattle, you probably didn’t sleep much last night. Super Bowl LX ended with Kenneth Walker III and Sam Darnold leading the Seahawks to a championship win that felt equal parts surreal and deeply satisfying. The kind of win you replay in your head over and over, just to make sure it really happened.
And then came the cherry on top.
Moments after the final whistle in Santa Clara, with confetti falling and surrounded by their teammates, Walker and Darnold delivered the words every football fan knows by heart. This time, they said it together.
“We’re going to Disneyland!”
Disney cameras were right there to catch the moment, which is now airing as part of Disney’s long-running Super Bowl tradition across television and social media in both English and Spanish. It’s the kind of thing that instantly locks a game into memory, not just as a win, but as a moment.
Now the celebration moves south.

On Monday, February 9, the Super Bowl champs will arrive at Disneyland Resort, which is already in the middle of celebrating its 70th anniversary. Walker and Darnold are set to spend the day soaking it all in, from attractions to character interactions, before taking part in a celebratory cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. Fans inside the park will get their chance to cheer them on all over again, this time with Sleeping Beauty Castle as the backdrop.

It’s a fitting next chapter after a night where both players showed up when it mattered most. Together, they helped power Seattle past the New England Patriots and etched their names into Super Bowl history.

This moment also keeps alive a tradition that dates back to 1987, when Phil Simms first uttered the now-iconic Disneyland phrase after a Super Bowl win. For Sam Darnold, it’s an especially full-circle moment. He grew up in Southern California, not far from Disneyland, and played college football at USC before his NFL journey eventually brought him to Seattle.

From the Pacific Northwest to Main Street, U.S.A., the Seahawks’ Super Bowl celebration is officially rolling on. And for fans (like me!!) back home, seeing our guys take victory laps at Disneyland somehow makes the whole thing feel even sweeter.
