It’s sad, but true. The original names that entrées were given when Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo opened in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios have been changed. Gone are the names that reflected items from the Star Wars universe as the dishes have now been labeled with titles that simply state what the item is without use of theming.
The Braised Shaak Roast is now called Beef Pot Roast, and the Fried Endorian Tip Yip is now labeled as Fried Chicken. The Oi-Oi Puff and Batuu-Bon desserts have retained their Star Wars themed names.
If you look closely at the menus and menu boards, you’ll notice that the original names of the dishes are in small print just under the simplified names. The entrées are only referred to by their simplified names on the Mobile Order service in the My Disney Experience app.
Deni loves all things Disney, and, in 2013, moved to the Magic from Maryland. Walt Disney World is her happy place, and she loves getting to share it with others. Deni and her husband of almost 26 years have 2 grown children. Her favorite WDW snack? A Mickey Bar, of course. Is there any other?!
