Coast Guard searching for man overboard from Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas

The Coast Guard is currently searching for a 22-year old man who reportedly went overboard from Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas cruise ship. The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the ship was about 33 miles South of Key Largo when the Coast Guard was notified “shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016. Nine states will need passports for domestic flights in 2018

Travelers from nine states will require more than their driver’s licenses starting January 22nd, 2018. Early this year warnings about this came out from The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, but on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 the TSA began hanging the new rules going into effect at their checkpoints nationwide in 2018.  Travelers from Kentucky, Nine states will need passports for domestic flights in 2018

SeaWorld will use photos to match guests with tickets

SeaWorld Entertainment cuts 320 jobs

320 jobs were eliminated by SeaWorld Entertainment on Tuesday, December 6. These jobs came from all 12 of the company’s theme parks and corporate headquarters in Orlando and equal about 3 percent of the company. The restructuring was described by a company spokeswoman as “a combination of layoffs and elimination of vacant positions”, but a SeaWorld Entertainment cuts 320 jobs

Forbidden Journey at Universal Studios Hollywood no longer 3D

The DIS has confirmed that Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal Studios Hollywood is no longer being operated with the 3D effect. Unlike similar attractions at Orlando’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Japan, when the Hollywood version opened in April of this year, riders donned 3D glasses when experiencing the attraction. SeaWorld Orlando plans Christmas Celebration festivities

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration begins later this month and the park has released details of their festivities, to be held on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays Nov. 25-Dec. 11 and daily from Dec. 16-31, 2016. New experiences this year include Rudolph’s ChristmasTown and Santa’s Workshop.
