For the past six years, Turner Classic Movies has hosted the TCM Classic Cruise, giving guests the opportunity to sail with other film lovers, as well as meet some of their favorite stars. These popular sailings have taken place with Disney Cruise Line the past 4 years, but TCM has announced that the cruise taking place on the Disney Fantasy November 12 will be the last, in spite of selling out every year.
On these cruises, guests take part in Q&A sessions, trivia contests, karaoke, and use the ship’s theaters to screen classic films. This year’s headlining stars are Jerry Lewis, Leslie Caron, and Mitzi Gaynor.
A TCM spokesman said, “As TCM continues to grow and evolve, we will look to explore new business opportunities in markets across the country that will allow us to connect and engage with our fans in new and different ways.”
