Two craft beer events to be held at Disney Springs’ House of Blues

Children now being asked to scan fingers when entering the Walt Disney World theme parks

In what appears to be a trial, children entering the Walt Disney World theme parks are being asked to scan their fingerprint after scanning their tickets or MagicBands. Pool at Disney’s abandoned River Country water park being drained and filled in

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Walt Disney World is draining and filling in the pool at River Country, the water park that has been abandoned since closing in 2002. Upstream Plunge was a 330,000-gallon pool that was “surrounded by manmade boulders for jumping and diving platforms.” This pool is right next to Mickey’s Backyard Pool at Disney’s abandoned River Country water park being drained and filled in
