The Epcot International Festival of the Arts starts soon and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have an exclusive gift, merchandise, and discounts to look forward to. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be Closed January 8 Due to Cold Weather

Due to forecasted cold weather, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be closed on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Projected high temperature is 69 degrees with lows of 55 degrees. As a reminder, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed for refurbishment. According to Disney’s calendar at the time of publication, Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on Thursday, January 9th at 10 a.m.

The changes continue in Epcot’s Future World as Mouse Gear, the flagship Disney merchandise store for the park, opened its new temporary location this morning. You’ll find Mouse Gear’s temporary store located just behind Electric Umbrella in the space that formerly housed Colortopia. Buses from Pop Century Resort to Hollywood Studios, Epcot Reduced to Hourly; Guests to Use Skyliner

Beginning today, bus transportation from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot will be reduced to one bus per hour.
