From its open, meticulously landscaped lobby - to its large, comfortable (and recently renovated) guest rooms - this hotel has everything you need to experience Universal Orlando in style and comfort - without breaking the bank.
The hotel features a large heated swimming pool, and one of the largest whirlpool spa's we've ever seen at a hotel. There are several dining options available at the hotel from 'grab and go' type deli sandwiches, to full sit-down meals (including breakfast).
This hotels strongest feature, however, is it's proximity to Universal Orlando. It is a short walk along a lighted sidewalk path right to the main gate of both theme parks and City Walk.
The hotel has undergone a $12M renovation, and nowhere is this more evident then in the guest rooms. The rooms are large (350 sq. ft. +), well decorated, and will comfortably hold a family of four. Every room has one king or two queen beds, all featuring the "Sweet Dreams by Doubletree" pillow-top mattresses and bedding. Each room also has a 32" flat screen television, Neutrogina toiletries and shower products in the bathrooms, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, AM/FM clock radio with MP3 connection, blackout drapes and more.

Location & Area Attractions
The Doubletree Universal is located on the corner of Kirkman Road and Major Blvd. just across the street from the Universal Orlando resort. A lighted sidewalk connects the two properties and is about a five minute walk. Complimentary scheduled transportation is also provided to Universal Orlando as well as Sea World Orlando.
