So this is love … or at least it will be in only one month! Disney has already begun rolling out their Valentine’s Day merchandise on shopDisney and at Walt Disney World.

If you’re like me, this might have you thinking, “How can I celebrate Valentine’s Day at Disney?” Look no further because we have five ways to celebrate this day of love at Walt Disney World.

1. Table for Two

Disney World might be known for its family and child-friendly atmosphere, but that doesn’t mean couples can’t find opportunities for romance. Dining at Disney is one of those opportunities. Whether guests want to splurge or stay budget-friendly, Disney World restaurants have it all. Remember to take advantage of the Advance Dining Reservation (ADR) to get into any popular locations. Below are three of our favorite options.

  • California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Located on the 15th floor, with its own private elevator, lives California Grill. This fine dining experience only offers dinner. At this time, they are offering a limited California Grill 3-Course Selection Menu. For adults, this will set you back $89 per person. Not only are the atmosphere and drinks perfect for an intimate evening, but the California Grill offers beautiful views of Magic Kingdom’s firework show, Happily Ever After.

  • San Angel Inn Restaurante at EPCOT

Inside the Mexico pavilion, guests can dine on authentic Mexican cuisine, overlooking the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros boat ride, mood lighting included. Did I mention the volcano in the background? Yes, it has that too. Currently, they serve both lunch and dinner. Entree items hang around the $30 range. The real treat is the eight different flavors of margaritas you can order.

  • Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Found on Discovery Island, guests can taste world flavors at this signature dining restaurant. This menu is for the more adventurous couple, offering charred octopus and cardamom-spiced veal to name a few. Entree prices start at $34. Specialty alcoholic drinks are offered here, but a must-try is the tea press pot. Guests can choose between 10 different types and flavors of tea.

2. Valentine Dessert Stroll

Did you know that Disney World offers Valentine-specific treats? They do, but only for a very limited time. The 2024 Valentine’s Day list of goodies was recently released; take a look at the full list here.

  • Love Bug Marshmallow

It’s love bug season — and I don’t mean the Florida love bug infestation season. The Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge offers the cutest treat for Valentine’s Day. Each strawberry marshmallow had a ganache center and rested on a graham cracker cookie.

  • Stitch and Angel Date Night Cupcake Duo

The cutest cupcake pair to hit the scene will be sold only at Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Served together in a dome for $13, both cupcakes are chocolate-based with strawberry pastry cream, white chocolate mousse, and buttercream flowers.

3. Feel Like Royalty

Everyone has their favorite Disney royal right? But what if you and your love tried out the royal life for Valentine’s Day? At Disney World, there are special memories for guests to make that exclude the parks. A couple of magical experiences include:

  • Horse-Drawn Carriages

If you’re looking for a romantic gesture, look no further! Guests can book a 25-minute, water-view horse-drawn carriage excursion at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort or Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Guests do not have to be staying on Disney property or those specific resorts to book this experience. To book in advance, call (407) WDW-PLAY.

  • Bicycle Made for Two

Daisy, Daisy … if you can’t afford a carriage (or simply don’t want to do it), consider renting a Surrey bike with your valentine! Surrey rentals are available at:

  • Private Pool Cabanas

Immerse yourself in luxurious relaxation with a private pool cabana only available at four Disney resorts, including:

Each private cabana offers something different, depending on the resort. However, all come with padded furniture, ceiling fans, stocked mini-refrigerators, and TVs. It’s important to note that you must be a resort guest of the same hotel where you book a cabana. Advance reservations are highly recommended as cabanas book quickly. To reserve a cabana, please call (407) WDW-PLAY.

I can’t wait to see if anything new is released at Disney World for Valentine’s Day, and if it’s anything like last year, it’s sure to be a bella notte.
