“It’s called ‘A Salute to All Nations, But Mostly America.'”
Summer celebrations are officially getting underway at Walt Disney World as patriotic decorations have begun arriving at Magic Kingdom. From Sunday to Monday, decorating teams installed classic red, white, and blue bunting throughout Main Street, U.S.A. ahead of the upcoming Memorial Day and Independence Day holidays.

The first bunting within view is on the front side of the Main Street train station, draped along railing at the park entrance. The half-circle design pulls from the American flag with two red stripes, two white, and a blue stripe running through the center.
Additional bunting wraps around the opposite side of the train station as well, hanging from the roofline.

From there it carries down Main Street, U.S.A., with installations on Town Square Theater, City Hall, the Fire Station, the Emporium, Uptown Jewelers, and the Main Street Confectionery.

Disney is celebrating America’s 250th birthday across the resort. Over at EPCOT, Soarin’ Across America has replaced the standard Soarin’ Around the World film for the occasion, taking guests on a flight over American landmarks.
4th of July Fireworks at Magic Kingdom & EPCOT
This year’s Fourth of July fireworks schedule has been released on Disney World’s website. As it currently stands, for the first time, both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are running their Independence Day shows across three nights instead of the usual one or two.
- Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is scheduled for July 3, 4, and 5 at 9 PM at Magic Kingdom. There is no Happily Ever After scheduled on those nights.
- The Heartbeat of Freedom is scheduled for July 3, 4, and 5 at 9:15 PM at EPCOT, immediately following the 9 PM nightly performance of Luminous The Symphony of Us.

If you’re planning around the fireworks, keep an eye on park hours as July approaches, as they typically change or extend over major holidays and holiday weekends.
