Changes at Port Canaveral for Disney Cruise Line
by Leah ZanollaNov 22, 2011
There have been several recent changes in the arrival process at Port Canaveral for Disney Cruise Line. The operational hours of the cruise terminal and parking garage in Port Canaveral now begin at 11:00 am. Transportation companies are not allowed to drop guests off before 11:00, so pickups from the airport or Disney area will not start until 10:00 am. This is being done in an effort to control the flow of traffic so guests will be able to disembark before new guests arrive.
There is now a preferred parking area available for $25 per day. Guests can drop off their luggage, then turn left into the preferred area. 113 spaces are available, with 6 of those being handicapped-accessible. This area is first come, first served. Parking in the regular lot is $15 per day.
