Man attacks security guards at Disney California Adventure

After attacking security guards at Disney California Adventure, a man was arrested for assault at 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 18. Glenn Horlacher, 53, repeatedly attacked Disney security guards outside of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. Guards tried unsuccessfully to restrain the man, then resorted to pepper spraying him, which only stopped his attacks for a few moments. While waiting for police to arrive on the scene, several guests helped the guards hold Horlacher down, while other Disney cast members held back the crowd.

Disneyland Resort spokeswoman Suzi Brown released a statement regarding the incident, saying that a security guard was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries and "we appreciate the actions of the guests who came to his aid during this uncharacteristic incident."

Horlacher was charged with assault and battery and was released from the Anaheim Jail on Saturday.

The entire incident was captured on video by bystanders and has been uploaded to YouTube. As of Monday night, the video has more than 78,000 views.
