 Romance was in the air as the opening ceremony for the thirteenth annual International Flower & Garden Festival was held this morning.
Al Weiss, President of Walt Disney World, was accompanied by Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Mickey and Minnie, and a classic Disney couple not often seen, Lady and the Tramp. These Disney duos were there to celebrate the release of “The Art of Disney: Romance Commemorative Stamp Series.” You’ll find their images on a limited edition of US Postal stamps.
The Flower & Garden Festival is held through June 11, 2006. Throughout the event there will be special festivities and the popular the Flower Power Concerts for visitors to enjoy as part of their Epcot admission.
