According to the Disney Parks Blog, Disney was named as the winner of three separate categories of Travel Weekly’s Readers Choice Awards. Travel Weekly’s Readers Choice Awards has 78 categories in total that highlight the best in the travel industry. Categories range from best airline to best theme park.
Adventures by Disney won as the best tour operator in the “adventure” category, Disney Cruise Line beat out competitors like Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Line to win the best “family experience” cruise line, and Walt Disney World beat out Universal Orlando Resort, and also the other domestic Disney park, Disneyland to win as the best “theme park.”
Disney has had recent success in these three categories. This is the third year in a row that Walt Disney World won as the best “theme park.” It is also the third year in a row that Disney Cruise Line won as the best “family experience” cruise line. The best tour operator in the “adventure” category started two years ago, and Adventures by Disney has won both years.
