EPCOT has quietly turned into a dessert lover’s playground lately, and this newest batch of treats is a solid excuse to start planning your sweet endings strategy before you even walk through the gates.
Let’s start in the Norway pavilion, where Akershus Royal Banquet Hall has added a brand-new Royal Chef’s Dessert Plate. If you’ve done this meal before, you know dessert is already a highlight, and this just leans into that even more. It’s a sampler-style plate, which is perfect if you’re the type who doesn’t want to commit to just one thing. Unfortunately, the Disney Eats Instagram only shared the name of the dessert plate, but no details about what we see on it, so we’ll just need to go to the restaurant and try it all!

In the United Kingdom pavilion, Rose & Crown Dining Room has a couple of new additions. The Eton Mess is now on the dessert menu, and if you’ve never had it before, it’s full of strawberries, whipped cream, and crunchy meringue piled on top. It’s messy, it’s sweet, and it’s the perfect dessert on a hot EPCOT afternoon.

They’ve also added a Chocolate Caterpillar Cake to the kids’ menu, and this might be one that adults are going to try to get their hands on. It’s playful, and it’s chocolate-heavy – a perfect combination.
At Garden Grill Restaurant, you’ve got a couple of familiar comfort-style desserts in the mix with a Dirt Cup and Strawberry Shortcake. These fit right in with the restaurant’s family-style vibe. Nothing overcomplicated, just classic, crowd-pleasing sweets that are easy to share… or not, as the case may be.

And then there’s the one that never really needs an introduction. The Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll at Sunshine Seasons is still doing its thing. Big, soft, covered in icing, and very easy to justify as breakfast… or a snack… or both.

Which one of these new goodies are you adding to your must-try list for your next visit to EPCOT?
