It’s no secret a VIP Tour is the ultimate way to experience Walt Disney Word and a “bucket list” item for many Disney fans. A Disney World VIP Tour comes with a lot of perks and rightly so, a high price point. VIP Tours require a minimum of 7 hours and range in price from around $450 to $950 per hour. You can bring up to 10 people included in that fee, making it a better value for a large family or group of friends.
While these prices might come with some sticker shock, there is a lot of value that comes from a VIP Tour. Not only does it take away any stress or effort in planning a perfect day at Disney but it also comes with a level of service you’ll never forget.
We recently experienced a 7 hour VIP Tour starting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and ending at Magic Kingdom. We had the best day and learned so much about what to expect on a VIP Tour. If you’ve ever considered taking a VIP Tour, here are 4 reasons you should totally book it on your next Disney World Vacation!
1. Unlimited Access to Attractions
We’ve all been there, you’re waiting in line and a family with a VIP Tour Guide comes buzzing by completely bypassing the line. Who wouldn’t be envious! VIP Tour Guides you get unlimited Lightning Lane access and in some cases – a short cut onto the attraction. This means no booking Lightning Lane reservations and the ability ride your favorite attraction over and over again.
VIP Tours generally include access to all attractions including new experiences like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, The Millennium Falcon (with the new Mandalorian mission), Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. They also include individual Lightning Lane attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. When you consider a Lightning Lane Premier Pass can cost up to $450 per person, per day and only includes one entry per attraction, it makes a VIP Tour feel like an even better value.
There are also select attractions which have a line shortcut exclusive to VIP Tours like TRON Lightcycle/ Run, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion. These entrances save you even more time, maximizing the value of your tour.

2. Thoughtful Amenities
VIP Tours come with included snacks and water anytime you need it. When you park hop and park backstage, there’s usually snack options waiting for you like chips, cookies, and protein bars. Anytime you watch a parade of fireworks, you’re usually offered a snack like popcorn or a Mickey ice cream. There are also surprise moments like your VIP Tour Guide meeting you at the exit of the attraction with Mickey pretzels and waters. A few surprise moments we had included chilled waters waiting on us when our tour guide picked us up, cheeseburger spring rolls at the Magic Kingdom, and Mickey ice cream sandwiches on the ride back to our resort.
There was also an unexpected chance of rain during our and our guide was ready with a large umbrella and ponchos. These added touches made us feel taken care of, without a care in the world!

3. Exclusive Opportunities
VIP Tours get you exclusive access to special firework and parade viewing areas plus the ability to park backstage to quickly get to your favorite attractions. Getting to park hop in minutes and go door to door to attractions, is something most guests never get to experience. Watching the Disney Starlight Parade above the Magic Kingdom train station and Happily Ever After Fireworks while comfortably seated on the “Hub grass” are opportunities you may not otherwise have. You’re getting an exclusive view with no-stress of holding your spot or getting there early. And did we mention, you’re offered an included Disney snack?

Disney VIP Tours now come with the opportunity to buy exclusive merchandise like rare jumbo pins, mouse ears, a Loungefly backpack, Lug bag, and Spirit Jersey. These items aren’t available for any other group and all include either the VIP Tour logo or iconic Tour Guide plaid. You can find these ultra-exclusive shopping experiences in Hollywood Studios at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Magic Kingdom inside Curtain Call Collectibles.

4. Convenience
VIP Tour Guides offer their own transportation of either an SUV or passenger van for larger parties. Your transportation also includes the option to add car seats. VIP Tour transportation can pick you up and drop you off at your Disney Resort (including the Four Seasons Orlando) plus get you from park to park. This is another rare opportunity for guests to access Disney from backstage. Giving you an expedited walk to your next attraction and the fun of seeing “behind the curtain”. Since you use the same vehicle during your entire tour, you’re welcome to leave anything you’d like. So if you purchase souvenirs, no toting them around the park.
VIP Tour Guides are also the best of the best Disney Cast Members. They’re able to make on-the-spot, expert recommendations to help maximize your day and have an answer for almost any question you can think of. No need to think ahead and map out your entire day, your VIP Tour Guide is already on it.

A very special shout-out to our wonderful VIP Tour Guide, Eric K. from Long Island! It truly is the Cast that makes a VIP Tour an unforgettable experience. You can request an incredible guide like Eric, meaning you can have your favorite guide year after year. Talk about a personalized experience!
