Disney Cruise Line is making changes to their final payment and cancellation policy for most cruises, plus streamlining some of the rules for special sailings.
The new policy will apply to cruises booked beginning September 11th.
For non-suite/non-concierge staterooms on cruises 1 to 5 nights, final payment will be due 90 days prior to sailing (previously 75 days). Cancellation penalties now begin at 89 days.
For non-suite/non-concierge staterooms on cruises 6 nights or longer, final payment will be due 120 days prior to sailing (previously 90 days). Cancellation penalties now begin at 119 days.
Special rules for final payment that applied to holiday sailings or sailings from non-U.S. ports have been eliminated and those sailings will have the same final payment policy as other sailings.
For suite and concierge staterooms, payment is due 120 prior to sailing on cruises of 1 to 5 nights, and 150 days prior to sailing on cruises 6 nights or longer.
Final payment date will not change for any existing reservations, unless changes are made to the sailing date or vacation package.
