Review: “Pinocchio” Available on Signature Collection Blu-ray

The cycle of the Disney Vault continues, and this time the doors have opened back up for Pinocchio, Walt Disney’s second full length animated feature. This release is part of the Walt Disney Signature Collection and is the first time Pinocchio has been released digitally. Pinocchio was previously available on Blu-ray in a Platinum Edition, but was left off Review: “Pinocchio” Available on Signature Collection Blu-ray





Review: “Queen of Katwe” Available on Blu-ray

Disney has been known to put out an inspirational sports movie every couple years, and Queen of Katwe is another fine addition to their live action film library. In fact, Queen of Katwe is one of the best Disney has ever done, because the aspirational story it is based on may be the best underdog source material Disney Review: “Queen of Katwe” Available on Blu-ray













“The BFG” arrives home on Blu-ray

Walt Disney Studios has had a pretty killer year thus far, mostly due to animated hits like Zootopia and Finding Dory, but there has also been a few stumbles along the way. One that sticks out in particular is The BFG, Steven Spielberg’s first Disney branded film. The BFG is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book 1982 book of the “The BFG” arrives home on Blu-ray





Twitter will live-stream new “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” footage

This Friday, December 2nd at 1 p.m EST/10 a.m. PST, Disney, People magazine and Twitter will team up to live-stream previously unreleased footage from the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. After the footage is streamed, a special Q&A will take place with director Gareth Edwards and cast members. Review: “Pete’s Dragon” soars into stores on Blu-ray

Starting with Alice in Wonderland back in 2010, Disney has gone on a conquest to re-imagine their animated classics. 2016 alone saw one and a half attempts at this – The Jungle Book and Alice Through the Looking Glass. That’s right, I’ll only call Alice a half attempt, because I’m not sure if the sequel of a re-imagining should Review: “Pete’s Dragon” soars into stores on Blu-ray





“Moana” is Disney’s next big hit

If the late 1980s through the 1990s was the Disney Renaissance, then we must be currently living in the Disney Age of Enlightenment. In 2009, Disney made a big move and returned to hand-drawn animation with The Princess and the Frog and they haven’t looked back. Since then, we have had Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia. “Moana” is Disney’s next big hit









Starbright Holidays lighting up the skies of Disney Springs at Walt Disney World

Since Disney received FAA approval to use drones for nighttime shows, it was assumed that we would see a show making use of the technology sooner than later and it took relatively no time at all.
