SeaWorld San Diego to fight ban on killer whale breeding

SeaWorld San Diego went before the California Coastal Commission recently to get approval for its $100 million Blue World Project, which would double the volume of their existing killer whale facility. During the course of the hearing, the Commission added an amendment that bans killer whale breeding at SeaWorld San Diego and another that limits SeaWorld San Diego to fight ban on killer whale breeding

Disneyland Resort raises Annual Pass prices and adjusts levels

Today the Disneyland Resort, somewhat quietly, raised prices on all Annual Passport levels, completely eliminated one level, and created two new levels. Gone is the $779 Premium Pass, that was good 365 days a year with no black out days.  In its place are two levels of Signature Passport.  Both offer similar benefits to the Disneyland Resort raises Annual Pass prices and adjusts levels

Disneyland Executive Chef wins Chef of the Year award

Andrew Sutton, Executive Chef of the Signature Restaurants at the Disneyland Resort was recently named Chef of the Year by the Orange County, California, Restaurant Association. The Association acknowledges chefs, bartenders and dishes in chef-driven and independent restaurants.  The Chef of the Year award is chosen by peers in the local restaurant industry and is Disneyland Executive Chef wins Chef of the Year award

Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration extended

The Disneyland Resort has announced that the Diamond Celebration that began earlier this year to mark the 60th birthday of Disneyland Park will continue through September 5, 2016. For the Celebration, the Disneyland Resort not only added diamond decorations to Sleeping Beauty Castle, but also premiered three new night time spectaculars: “Paint The Night” electrical Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration extended

Suspension bridges, cargo nets, body and tube slides, flume rides and indoor surf simulators are just some of the thrills that guests will experience when the 603-room Great Wolf Lodge and its attached 105,000-square-foot indoor water park opens in March just south of the Disneyland Resort.
