Happy Monday, my Disney-loving friends! We are shaking up the beginning of the week here at The DIS, and what better way is there to start the working week than with a fun little merch review? I can tell you that in my research for this very topic, looking back at all the new releases from last month, some pretty amazing things have popped up that require our immediate attention.
Let’s get started by catching up on the last few weeks of Merch news!
Fantastic Five Collection
For those of you classic Disney fans, you can now find the Fantastic Five collection of Mickey & his pals in the Disney Parks. In a nostalgic nod to the good-ole-days, Disney has released this super-cute collection of apparel, home goods, and accessories that bring back all the classic Disney feels.
The Little Mermaid inspired collection by Betsey Johnson
Are you harboring a little bit of jealousy for Ariel’s collection of dinglehoppers and thingamabobs? Then listen up because The Little Mermaid inspired line from Betsey Johnson has just launched in all its under-the-sea glory. As of February 19th, you can now find these treasures at Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort and The Disney Dress Shop in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. If you can’t make it into the parks, some of these pieces have already popped up on shopDisney.com, including Charm Bracelet ($150), Earrings ($75), Necklace ($175), Dangle Pin ($65), Hoop Earrings ($65).
The Pirates of the Caribbean from Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction
Minnie Mouse tried her hand at Pirate Life in February with this black, and gold themed range available throughout Disney stores and both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. It’s all about the mug with this one; how cute is that? This Pirates of the Caribbean theme is also available in ears, plush ($29.99), Loungefly hip bag, pin set, and MagicBand. Missed the January edition of this series? You can find Deni Sunderly’s article here. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we take a look at the March edition of Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series called Minnie Joins the Mad Tea Party set to debut March 21st.
The New United Kingdom-inspired Headband now in Epcot
Earlier this month, we saw that the United Kingdom Pavillion at Epcot now hosts its own new, fun range of limited-edition merchandise all themed around the good old London Town. Heavily featuring the Union Jack from the nation’s flag, this collection includes ears, apparel (including this gorgeous skirt and top), drinkware, and accessories.
These items are only available while stocks last; however Disney Parks Blog has assured us there will be more World Showcase Merch coming throughout the year.
Magic Happens Merchandise released in Disneyland
If you’ve been waiting for it since the announcement on February 11th, then your time has finally come. As of last Friday 28th, the “Magic Happens” collection of Disneyland is in stores and ready to inspire coinciding with the new theme within the parks. This purple based series includes everything from apparel (raglan shirt $36.99), pins, drink cups (tumbler $19.99), and of course, my favorite, the ears ($29.99).
Head to Main Street, U.S.A. and find this whimsical collection in-store at the Emporium or Disney Showcase while stocks last. Looking for all the action of the new Magic Happens Parade? Find Tom Bell’s highlights here.
The Mandalorian, “The Child” Collection newly released
Good news for The Mandalorian fans; last week Disney Parks Blog released that highly anticipated line of merchandise called “The Child” for Pre-Order, featuring the trendy character affectionately dubbed ‘Baby Yoda.” While most of this stock is available for pre-order on shopDisney.com, there is no doubt it is likely to sell fast. So, get in quick if you plan on scoring yourself a Plush ($24.99), Socks for Adults ($16.99), Pullover Sweatshirt ($34.95), “On Board” Car Magnet ($14.99), 3D Phone Case ($34.00) or the Espadrilles ($89.95).

Last week, the official Disney Springs social media account released the image below on Twitter of the new Mickey Mouse Hat Souvenir Dish now available at AristoCrepes in Dinsey Springs. Sure, you get to take home that dish, but I am also seeing it as a solid excuse to order that epic-looking dessert!
