Heritage Auctions has posted the first wave of lots for the inaugural Disney Experiences Auction, giving us fans an early preview of the park props, signs, and memorabilia that will be up for bid ahead of Disney’s full reveal. Disney has teased that more details are “coming soon” as part of the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event schedule.

Presented by Heritage Auctions, the sale will feature authentic props, signs, ride pieces, and other memorabilia from Disney Parks and resorts. Online bidding opens July 20, followed by a live auction on Sunday, August 16, at D23, hosted by Bret Iwan, the official voice of Mickey Mouse.
Heritage Auctions’ catalogers are still reviewing many of the lots, so descriptions and details may change before bidding begins. Even so, the first wave of listings includes several pieces that Disney Parks enthusiasts will instantly recognize!

One of the biggest highlights comes from Muppet*Vision 3D, which permanently closed at Hollywood Studios in June 2025. Fans will have the chance to bid on the decorative Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog figures that hung inside the theater, along with one of the attraction’s 3D glasses distribution bins. With Muppet*Vision now part of Disney history, and one of Jim Henson’s last legacies, these are likely to be among the auction’s most sought-after items.

Yeehaw! Clear some space for this park-used Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride vehicle from Magic Kingdom, which is also headed to the auction.

The auction also includes several signs and themed park fixtures that you’ve probably walked right past over the years. Among them are an “Exit to Tomorrowland” sign from Walt Disney World, a Tomorrowland trash can from Disneyland, a Wilderness Lodge trash can, and a resort-used “Aloha” sign from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Care for some Mary Blair flair in your home? A decorative flower display from inside Magic Kingdom’s “it’s a small world” will also be included.

Several Haunted Mansion artifacts from Disneyland are also found in the catalog. Current listings include a park-used glass Medusa panel from the attraction’s gallery wall and the Mummy’s sarcophagus seen inside the mansion’s graveyard scene.

And from Adventureland, a park-used mummy prop from Indiana Jones Adventure has also been revealed.

Another interesting addition comes from Disney California Adventure. Although The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror became Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! several years ago, Disney kept a number of the original attraction’s props in storage. Among the auction lots are a chair and table from the Tower of Terror lobby. According to Heritage Auctions, the chair is one of two that originally sat in the attraction’s ghost-filled hallway scene.

This is only the beginning of what’s expected to be a much larger catalog. As Heritage continues processing items, more Disney Parks memorabilia is expected to be added before online bidding opens on July 20.
What would you like to bid on? I’ve got my eye on those Muppet*Vision 3D props…
