Disney Cruise Line Begins Replacing Do Not Disturb Signs

Disney Cruise Line Begins Replacing Do Not Disturb Signs DCLoccupiedcrop

Following the trend set by Walt Disney World and other hotel chains, Disney Cruise Line has begun replacing the “Do Not Disturb” signs with “Room Occupied” signs aboard their fleet of ships.

The new sign asserts Disney Cruise Line’s right to enter the stateroom at any time, even if the sign is displayed. Changes are being made at hotels nationwide following the Las Vegas shooting in which the gunman allegedly hid several suitcases filled with weapons in his room unnoticed.

The changes began today on the Disney Dream with this new sign. The other ships are expected to follow soon.

Stateroom attendants are already in each cabin at least twice a day to clean, so how this changes things aboard the ships is yet to be seen.
