Chef Patrick Albert, executive chef of Disney Cruise Line’s Remy, was named a Master Chef of France and was inducted into the Maitres Cuisiniers de France, a “prestigious culinary society and one of the highest honors in the country.”
A Master Chef is “dedicated to preserving and perpetuating the tradition of great French cuisine.” Chef Patrick serves French-inspired dishes that are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients at Remy, an adults-only restaurant on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
Other chefs at Remy have recently received honors as well. Chef Arnaud Lallement, advising chef, owns a restaurant in Reims, France, which was awarded a third Michelin star. Chef Scott Hunnel is a 2015 James Beard Award semi-finalist. Chef Scott also runs Victoria & Albert’s, Walt Disney World’s AAA Five-Diamond award-winning restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
