Disney Cruise Line has made some changes to its Castaway Club program, one of which will allow returning cruisers to book new itineraries even earlier.
Castaway Club is Disney Cruise Line’s loyalty program that guests are automatically enrolled in after their first cruise. Guests are Silver members after 1 cruise, Gold members after 5 cruises and Platinum members after 10 cruises. Benefits increase as your Castaway Club level increases.
Previously, when new itineraries were released, Gold and Platinum members were able to book 1 day before the general public. Now, Platinum members will be able to book 3 days early and Gold members will be able to book 2 days early, plus for the first time, Silver members will be able to book 1 day before the general public.
Disney Cruise Line has also made a change to its Castaway Club Onboard Reception that used to take place for Gold and Platinum members on cruises of 4-days or longer. The reception is now limited to cruises of 8-nights or longer and now includes “special entertainment.”
These changes are effective immediately.
