Magic Kingdom to test new one-day dining plan

The Magic Kingdom is doing a test of a one-day dining plan in January and February. From January 12-February 22, guests can test out the new “Disney-Dine-on-the-Go” plan, which allows them to pre-pay for one day of meal credits.

The plan is available for both children (ages 3-9) and adults, who will receive certificates that can then be redeemed for one quick service lunch and one quick service dinner. Lunch certificates will need to be used before 4:00pm and dinner certificates are valid from 4:00pm through park closing. Each meal will consist of one entrée and one single-serving non-alcoholic beverage.  Dessert is not included.

Guests who are interested in trying out this new dining plan can stop by guest relations at the Magic Kingdom or at one of the ticket sales booths at the TTC.  Price for adults is $29 and price for children (ages 3-9) is $12.

The Magic Kingdom restaurants participating in this test include:

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
