More Details About the Signature Restaurant Opening this Summer at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot

A new signature restaurant coming to the Japan Pavilion in Epcot finally has a name and a few more details. The restaurant, which was announced last May, will be called Takumi-Tei and will be a signature dining experience “inspired by the natural beauty of Japan.”

The design of Takumi-Tei, or “house of the artisan,” will celebrate the marriage of Japanese craftmanship and the natural world, with food inspired by nature and the artisan.

The dinner menu will spotlight wagyu beef and an optional multi-course tasting menu will include traditional tea service. Takumi-Tei will also serve signature cocktails, premium sake, and have a wine and craft beer menu.

Guests can enjoy a Chef’s Table dining experience in the restaurant’s Water Room.

Takumi-Tei will be operated by Mitsukoshi USA, which already runs Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, plus merchandise shops and kiosks in the Japan Pavilion.

There is still no exact opening date for Takumi-Tei.
