Today, the Disney Fantasy was supposed to stop in Cozumel, Mexico, but Tropical Storm Franklin has altered this ship’s planned itinerary. The Disney Fantasy is currently on a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise. Fortunately for guests aboard, the itinerary still plans on stopping in Grand Cayman on Tuesday, Falmouth on Wednesday and Castaway Cay on Friday.
With 8 to 10-foot sea swells and high winds in the northwestern Caribbean it would have been far too dangerous for the Disney Fantasy to follow through on its regularly scheduled itinerary.
There are currently no details on whether guests aboard the ship will be compensated for the change in the itinerary, and we will bring you those details as soon as they are reported.
