UPDATE 06/04/20: For guests that were unable to use previously purchased theme park tickets due to the pandemic-related closure, Walt Disney World has confirmed that the use period for some of those tickets will be extended.
Guests with partially used multi-day tickets or date-specific theme park tickets will have the expiration date on those tickets extended to September 26, 2021. This applies to tickets purchased through June 6, 2020 with a valid use period starting March 12, 2020 or later.
For guests that are unable to visit Walt Disney World before September 26, 2021, the value of a wholly unused ticket may be applied toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.
UPDATE 05/29/20: Walt Disney World has provided some new information for its Annual Passholders, reminding them that capacity in the theme parks will be significantly limited and that their pass will not guarantee park entry “during this unprecedented time”. Disney also confirmed that there will be special previews for Passholders before the parks reopen.
As with other guests, Passholders will need a reservation to visit a theme park. Due to the limited capacity, Passholders may have trouble getting reservations for certain dates. To help alleviate capacity issues, total reservation days held at one time will be limited. The resort will provide more information on these limitations soon.
Passholders were reminded that blackout dates remain in place and that they should enure their pass type is valid for park entry for the day of their reservation.
Walt Disney World also shared that some Passholder benefits and features will not be available during these periods of limited capacity and that park experiences may be modified.
Finally, Passholders received confirmation that there will be a special preview opportunity prior to the parks reopening. More information on that will be shared later.

The Walt Disney World Resort has launched a new section on their official website to assist guests in being prepared for their upcoming vacations.
The theme parks, Resort hotels, and more will be different than what we’ve become accustomed to and it’s going to be important to know the new rules as well as what to expect upon your arrival.
When the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen, attendance will be managed through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to make reservations in advance for theme park entry.
