The EPCOT Monorail is Back in Business!

In another step toward pre-COVID times at Walt Disney World, the EPCOT monorail returned to service over the weekend. The EPCOT monorail line has not been running since March of 2020 and has been sorely missed by Disney World guests. The EPCOT monorail runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center and the front entrance of The EPCOT Monorail is Back in Business!

‘Disney Very Merriest After Hours’ to Replace Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2021

Walt Disney World has announced that ‘Disney Very Merriest After Hours,’ will be the new hard-ticketed Holiday event for 2021. The event is set to begin on November 8th before all the rest of the festive fun throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. It will be available on select nights through December 21st. Popular Breakfast at The Wave Moving to AMAZING Spot During Refurb

As we previously reported, The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closing on July 15th for a lengthy refurbishment. The restaurant will reopen in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. In the meantime, the popular breakfast service from The Wave will temporarily be moved upstairs to the California Grill! Lobby Renovation Begins Soon at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

Beginning July 12th and lasting through mid-October, the check-in experience at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be receiving an update. All-Star Movies is currently the only one of Disney’s three All-Star Resorts that is open to guests. New Coco-themed Scene to be Added to Magic Kingdom Attraction!

UPDATE: Disney has announced that the new Coco-inspired scene will debut as part of Walt Disney World’s Mickey’s PhilharMagic on November 12th. It has also been announced this week that the attraction will be undergoing a refurbishment from October 11th through November 11th as the attraction receives a new digital projection system. New Early Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours Coming to Walt Disney World Guests

UPDATE 8/2/21: Walt Disney World has published the first schedule for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. The extended hours are being offered to guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas.
