Disney California Adventure Park to Reopen for Ticketed Dining Experience

Disneyland has just announced that they’ll be hosting a limited-time dining experience inside Disney California Adventure park. This will be a hard-ticketed event and will begin in mid-March. Attractions will not be open during the event. Guests can once again enjoy outdoor dining in the Downtown Disney District at locations including Naples Ristorante e Bar, Uva Bar & Café, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Tortilla Jo’s, and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. Ballast Point Brewing Co. has opened its beer garden, offering the Ballast Point burger, ahi poke, soyrizo & roasted cauliflower tacos, and seasonal fare. Disneyland Announces Additional Furloughs as Parks Remain Closed

In an apparent email to cast members Monday evening, Disneyland president Ken Potrock announced additional furloughs of executive, salaried, and hourly employees. Last month, the state of California issued reopening guidelines for theme parks but some news outlets such as the OC Register state that those guidelines could prevent the theme parks from reopening until Disneyland Announces Additional Furloughs as Parks Remain Closed

Excess Food From Disney Parks Closures Being Donated to Local Food Bank

UPDATE – 3/18/20: Disneyland Paris has donated 15 tons of surplus food to local and national associations in France such as Secours Populaire Français and Restaurants du Cœur, following Disney’s decision to close Disneyland Paris through the end of the month.
