Happy 50th Anniversary, Walt Disney World!

October 1st, 1971, was a beautiful day filled with unprecedented anticipation and excitement that electrified the air. A smaller-than-expected crowd of approximately 10,000 people gathered to witness the celebration of imagination and family-style fun with the opening of Walt Disney World. Though the anniversary that we have all been looking forward to falls on this Happy 50th Anniversary, Walt Disney World!

Disney World Adds New Lighting Under Monorails

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, each of the monorails has received a special glowing light enhancement. Each train has received a lighting color that matches its painted stripe. We think the new lighting is pretty cool. Do you like it?
