4) Low-Cost
Okay, this is obvious, but it couldn’t be left unsaid. The low cost of the value resorts are a huge benefit. Personally, it allowed me to afford a trip to Walt Disney World in high school that I paid for myself at 18 years old. The low cost of your resort room allows you to spend your money in other ways during your vacation. For example, maybe you want to eat at more expensive restaurants or buy extra souvenirs during your stay. The low cost of your value resort hotel will allow you to have that little bit of extra cash to make your trip that much more special.
3) Cheaper Room Means Longer Stay
The money saved from staying in a value resort can be substantial. If you have enough time off from work or school, then staying at a value resort could allow you to afford a longer stay at Walt Disney World. By staying at a value resort for a seven-day vacation you can easily save over $1,500, as compared to a deluxe resort. With that extra money you can afford an extra night at the value resort hotel, park tickets for your family, and have money left over to spare. If it is a priority to stay at Walt Disney World for as long as possible, then staying at a value resort is the best choice for you.
2) Great For Families
The value resorts are nothing fancy, but for families with young children that might be a good thing. As beautiful as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is, most children don’t understand its appeal. Why spend all that extra money when your 5-year-old doesn’t know the difference? The deluxe resorts are amazing, but their fancy elegant lobbies can be awkward to to walk through as a family wearing dripping wet bathing suits. The value resorts embrace the family fun atmosphere and they don’t take themselves to seriously. Another great feature for families are family suites, which can be found at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation. These large suites are a great affordable way for large families or family reunions to all stay at the same resort hotel.
1) You’re Not Going To Be In Your Room That Much
During a Walt Disney World vacation, most of your time will be spent exploring the four theme parks, the two waterparks, and Disney Springs. Your resort hotel room will be used very sparingly, and most families only use their rooms to sleep in. Why spend all that extra money when you won’t have the time to enjoy your room that much anyways. Unless you plan on spending a lot of time at the resort, then there really is no point in staying at a moderate or deluxe resort. Additionally, the value resort rooms are perfectly adequate rooms for sleeping, they just aren’t as elegant as the moderate and deluxe resorts rooms.
