You know we love to see more resort and attraction-specific merch, how about a park-specific Spirit Jersey? Besides a few previous designs representing the Halloween and Christmas parties, this is the first time we’ve seen a Spirit Jersey specifically representing Magic Kingdom! We found this one inside the first room of the Emporium, on their own rolling rack near the graphic t-shirts and registers.
Magic Kingdom Spirit Jersey | $79.99
The baby blue-hued Spirit Jersey goes well with Cinderella Castle and Fantasyland, and just about every major Magic Kingdom attraction is represented in each letter.
Taking a closer look at the Magic Kingdom artwork:
– the “M” includes a silhouette of a castle, palm trees, and fireworks with a monorail gliding by.
– “A” represents the Little Orange Bird (hey, please bring back his Citrus Swirl).
– “G” is for Mickey Mouse with a little ear hat on top.
– “I” showcases the clock face from it’s a small world, topped with a little flag
– “C” is a cleverly curved piece of track for Big Thunder Mountain, complete with a cactus accent and goat holding a stick of dynamite. Hey, maybe well finally see this little guy added to WDW’s version with the coaster’s current extended closure?
– “K” represents Jungle Cruise with a boat and captain’s wheel at the center, and a hippo in the water below.
– “I” is for another Adventureland classic: Pirates of the Caribbean.
– “N” depicts Dumbo the Flying Elephant, topped with his yellow hat and magic feather.
– “G” represents the Haunted Mansion with a menacing face from the iconic wallpaper pattern, along with a night sky and surrounding bats.
– “D” includes a rocket blasting off in front of Space Mountain, with stars and Saturn around the letter.
– “O” represents the park’s newest attraction: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
– “M” looks awfully Grumpy, representing Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
The front of the Spirit Jersey includes the retro Walt Disney World logo with “Est 1971” in puff print.
We love to see Walt Disney World-specific merch, rather than the two coasts sharing “Disney Parks” and homogenized castle designs. This Magic Kingdom-specific design is super fun! Will you be adding it to your collection? EPCOT’s had one in the recent past, so here’s hoping we see some for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom next!
