Stop by stop, I’ve been checking out the holiday decor and gingerbread displays at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts for the 2025 holiday season — be sure to check out our previous snapshots from the Contemporary and Beach Club resorts! Today, we’re taking a closer look at the miniature Christmas village that’s back in the lobby of Disney’s Yacht Club this year.

Once inside the lobby, you’ll find the resort’s floor-to-ceiling Christmas tree and surrounding holiday décor hanging from banisters and columns. The tree features nautical touches; with sailboats, rope, and blue accents.

Yacht Club’s Miniature Christmas Village
The village sits behind low white picket fencing and some greenery on one side of the lobby. It blends traditional, old-fashioned Christmas village pieces with Disney-themed miniatures, all arranged across a snowy white “mountain” backdrop.

A model train circles the entire display, weaving through the mountain and under a bridge. It typically runs throughout the day and powers down overnight.

One side of the mountain features a cavern scene with Santa Claus, a reindeer, and two children. Nearby are a barbershop quartet, a snowman, and a whimsical candy factory with a glowing gumdrop pathway.
Above the cavern is Elsa’s ice palace, flanked by figures of Anna and Elsa, a candy-themed windmill, and snow-covered trees.

Closer to the tracks is a Mickey’s Village water tower, and the train itself features a lit Christmas tree on its front car. The Disney section of the village includes several miniature versions of Mickey Mouse (more than one in one location?! Shocking, I know), plus Mickey-shaped buildings.

The opposite side of the display leans more traditional, with classic village structures emitting warm lights, frozen lakes filled with nearby villagers and ice skaters, as well as woodland animals.

Small billboards advertise Yacht Club and Beach Club favorites such as Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

You can spot some hidden Disney characters along this side too; some of my favorites are Tinker Bell and her fairy friends amongst the trees, and an adorable little elf giving a pair of Mickey ears to a baby polar bear.

This year’s holiday display at Disney’s Yacht Club is fairly simple in nature (I mean, compared to all of those intricate “edible” gingerbread displays!), but you could easily spend a good amount of time taking in the tiny details while the little train makes a few laps! Are you planning on visiting any of Disney’s deluxe resorts this holiday season?
