The Festival of the Masters is Disney's acclaimed annual showcase
of fine art.
The Festival is centered at Downtown
Disney Westside, and features the works of some of today's top artists. Artwork mediums such as photography, glass work, paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, jewelry, leather & wood, mixed media and collage, and Digital art are displayed. At the Marketplace, amazing chalk artists create masterpieces on the sidewalks.
If you're in town, it's well worth a visit and best of all, it's "free." (There's a word you don't often associate with Disney.)
Also featured:
- House of Blues featuring the 10th Annual "Where the Art Meets the Soul" festival with national and local folk artists, music and kid's activities
- The Central Florida Chalk Artists Association will decorate more than six thousand square feet of sidewalk--kids can create their own chalk art masterpieces as well.
- Special Children's Activities outside Disney Quest. Other art related activities for families will be held throughout Downtown Disney.
- DJ Dance Party at the Dock Stage every afternoon
- Meet the cast of Cirque du Soleil - Face painting and balloons
- Live Entertainment
