Disney Springs at Walt Disney World is a large shopping, dining, and entertainment district located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Formerly known as Downtown Disney, Disney Springs features more than 150 shops, restaurants, lounges, and entertainment locations across four themed neighborhoods: Town Center, The Landing, West Side, and Marketplace. Guests can visit for everything from signature dining and quick-service meals to unique Disney merchandise, national retailers, live entertainment, dessert stops, and waterfront views.
The story of Disney Springs centers on a natural spring that became the heart of a growing Florida town. Each neighborhood reflects a different stage of that town’s development, with architecture, landscaping, and waterfront details helping connect the entire district. Town Center offers a more upscale shopping and dining setting, The Landing features waterfront restaurants and lounges, West Side focuses on entertainment and large-scale venues, and Marketplace includes family-friendly shops, Disney merchandise, and classic Disney Springs favorites.
Disney Springs does not require a theme park ticket, making it a popular destination for Walt Disney World guests and Orlando visitors looking for dining, shopping, nightlife, and entertainment outside the parks. With free self-parking, Disney Resort bus transportation, and a wide mix of restaurants and stores, Disney Springs is a convenient place to spend a full evening, take a break from the theme parks, or enjoy a casual day at Walt Disney World.
Welcome Center
The Disney Springs Welcome Center is the main Guest Relations location at Disney Springs, located in Town Center near D-Luxe Burger, the Disney Ticket Center, and Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza. This is a helpful stop for guests who need assistance during a visit to Disney Springs, including questions about accessibility, guide maps, lost guests, the My Disney Experience app, and general information about shopping, dining, entertainment, and transportation.
Guests can visit the Welcome Center for help navigating Disney Springs, finding specific restaurants or stores, learning about available services, and getting assistance with common Walt Disney World questions. The location is especially useful for first-time visitors, guests with accessibility needs, and anyone who wants help planning the rest of their day at Disney Springs.
The nearby Disney Ticket Center provides additional assistance with Walt Disney World theme park tickets, upgrades, will call, Annual Pass sales and renewals, and Military Salute tickets. Together, the Disney Springs Welcome Center and Disney Ticket Center make Town Center a convenient place to get guest support before shopping, dining, or heading to another Walt Disney World destination.
